About the Role The Production Operator is principally responsible to process the American Aerogel productthrough refurbishment process. This position ensures the quality of the product through each step using self-monitoring and observation. Salary Range & Benefits Salary Range: $17.50 – 20.50 hourly, commensurate with experience. Maintains workflow efficiency between phases of assembly. Assist other team members as necessary in order to maintain line flow. Cross Train between assembly lines and/or workstations. Assist in training others as needed. Participate in driving improvements by offering suggestions to eliminate waste from work areas. Follow all necessary Quality System procedures and work instructions. Follow all environmental, health, and safety rules and procedures. Reject non-conforming parts on a daily basis with clear description of non‑conformity. Maintain cleanliness of area. Other duties as assigned. High School Diploma or GED Flexible for all shifts; willing to work OT and weekends when needed Strong attention to detail Curiosity and interest in learning Basic computer skills Ability to use tools such as scanners, manual pallet jacks, banding machines, etc. Must be extremely trustworthy, flexible, and dependable with a good attendancehistory Self‑Motivated and able to perform with little direction Team-Player- must possess a “can do” attitude and must be able to work with others. Proficient English Written and verbal, Good Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this position, the employee will frequently be required to: Sit for extended periods.
