Key Responsibilities Ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards. Coordinate new employee onboarding and cross-training programs, including required documentation and Learning Management System (LMS) entries. Conduct production training both on the manufacturing floor and in classroom settings. Develop and implement production training programs aligned with company objectives. Maintain accurate and complete training materials, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and equipment instructions for all shifts. Identify skill gaps and provide additional training, coaching, or performance feedback as needed. Develop and improve training programs and initiatives to support employee development and operational needs. Establish and maintain training policies and programs that support efficient operations. Collaborate with Production, Human Resources, supervisors, and management to achieve training goals. Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment and production conversions. Lead training efforts for new equipment, including startup training, SOP development, and troubleshooting guides. Coordinate refresher training as needed. Maintain open and effective communication with the Training Team, Production Supervisors, and Management. Assist Human Resources by providing job‑related information and tours to potential new employees. Demonstrate initiative, independence, and productivity in completing assigned responsibilities. Adapt to different positions, departments, and shifts based on business needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong written, verbal, and analytical communication skills. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to effectively evaluate employee skills and training needs. Strong presentation and training skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Detail‑oriented and focused approach to work. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and management. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is an organized and effective communicator who can confidently train employees in both classroom and production environments. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with employees at various skill levels, identifying training needs, and adapting training methods to support different learning styles and production requirements. Schedule: Variable; must be willing to work different shifts and adjust to business needs. Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 Steuben Foods is committed to equal employment opportunity.
