Aurora Sewing Center is seeking a full-time Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our East Aurora team. In this hands-on role, you'll pick, pack, and ship customer orders, maintain inventory, and help ensure products move efficiently between our three retail locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with a supportive team. Familiarity with sewing is a plus, and this is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, learning new skills, and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. Aurora Sewing Center is family-owned business with three retail locations (East Aurora, NY, Williamsville, NY, and Victor, NY), proudly serving the Western New York sewing community for over 45 years. We specialize in home sewing machines, fabric, sewing supplies to support the hobbyist and sewing community with sewing, embroidery, quilting and crafting.

FULFILLMENT SPECIALIST:

Aurora Sewing Center is looking for a full-time ORDER FULFILLMENT SPECIALST at our East Aurora store location who is a self-motivated, energetic person who has some familiarity with sewing. 

Hours : 40 hours total. Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 9 am to 3pm.

Location : East Aurora, NY.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Perform routine order picking, packing, transactions, and shipping for successful fulfilment within our software platforms, meeting our time and efficiency goals.
• Efficiently package and prepare small and large products for shipment. 
• Communicate professionally with a friendly disposition internally across all three store locations, and directly with customers (verbal and written).
• Effectively operate within our processes and systems to order, fulfill and transfer stock between locations, and ship products to customers with communication.
• Enter, move, load and restock product inventory.

Job Requirements:

• Must have the physical ability to lift, load/unload shipments, carry, climb stairs and move products up to 50-pounds.
• Must be able to work in both a team environment and independently.
• Must be able to take the initiative as problems or opportunities arise; being action oriented with attention to detail.
• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task and change direction when and as needed.
• Research and correct inventory issues, backorders and shipping issues as necessary.
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with other team members, and with ability to take direction.
• Maintain an organized and safe work area.
• Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, assignments and special projects or duties as assigned.
