Job Description Now Hiring: Human Resources Specialist Location: SMI Corporate Office – Doral, FL Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually SMI is seeking a highly organized, motivated, and bilingual Human Resources Specialist to join our growing team. This on-site position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting employees while ensuring efficient office operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and day-to-day office management. We are looking for a team-oriented professional who demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and exceptional organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the full-cycle onboarding process for new hires. Conduct New Hire Orientation in both English and Spanish. Process and maintain E-Verify employment eligibility records. Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files. Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and hiring activities. Support employee relations while promoting a positive workplace culture. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company employment policies. Manage office operations, supplies, scheduling, and administrative functions. Partner with management to support workforce planning and HR initiatives. Perform additional Human Resources and Office Management duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous Human Resources and Office Management experience required. Experience using E-Verify is required. Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written). Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills. Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
