Executive Team Leader Service & Engagement (Assistant Manager Front End)- Kansas City

Job Overview Pay range: $64,000 – $128,000. Pay is based on factors such as labor markets, education, work experience and certifications. Responsibilities Build and manage a team of Guest Advocates and Service & Engagement Leaders to exceed guest service expectations. Drive store sales and understand the impact of the team on total store profitability. Anticipate staffing needs, recruit and manage leaders to ensure training completion and continuous education. Conduct development conversations and recognize critical guest‑service behaviors. Establish a culture of accountability through performance management, coaching and feedback. Analyze business reporting and guest insights, troubleshoot issues and follow up on opportunities. Respond to negative guest experiences, de‑escalate situations and empower the team to resolve them. Set and manage the schedule to support peak traffic and key events, ensuring a frictionless experience across all shopping preferences. Promote physical and digital offerings, including Target RedCard and Wallet, and stay up‑to‑date on major promotions and events. Lead the team to deliver an efficient guest pick‑up experience. Maintain ethical conduct, safety and compliance, and lead team to uphold these standards. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications 4‑year degree or equivalent experience. Strong interpersonal, communication and business acumen. Ability to manage conflict, lead and hold others accountable. Excellent customer‑service orientation and problem‑solving skills. Strong cognitive and analytical skills, including decision making and quantitative analysis. Adaptability to current technology needs and ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements & Work Schedule Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team‑member issues. Interpret instructions, reports and information. Move merchandise up to 15 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Accurately handle cash register operations and transactions.
