Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Progressive Care Unit to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
• Manage and operate all unit-specific equipment including vents, feeding pumps, IV pumps, and wound vacs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions and adapt care plans accordingly.
• Perform and assist with procedures such as chest tube placement and bronchial management at bedside.
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Meditech/CPN systems.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Progressive Care Unit experience.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Experience managing chest tubes, trauma patients, tracheostomies, and suction equipment.
• Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale.
• Prior experience with Meditech electronic medical records preferred.
