Description for Internal Candidates

We have an opportunity for a Global Logistics Director to join us at Brady Corp , in our Ft. Mill, SC site.

This position will be dedicated to leading all Productivity Solutions and Services (PSS) logistics activities which will include direct/indirect management of regional logistics personnel and 3PL warehousing teams to ensure flawless performance from order to delivery. Will drive improvements and productivity for logistics /warehousing aspects via major KPIs such as inbound/outbound logistics performance, cost, inventory, Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA), annual physical inventory, safety compliance, on-time delivery.

What You Will Need To Be Successful:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or related discipline.

• 10 years of relevant and progressive logistics and integrated supply chain experience with manufacturing organizations of similar size and complexity.

• Experience in leading remote teams.

• Experience in collaborating in highly matrixed organizations.

• Broad and deep understanding of Transportation and Logistics economic and financial drivers.

• Excellent analytic and data skills in developing actionable KPIs and metrics around service and cost.

• Passion for customer, service and operational excellence.

• Lean qualification is an advantage.
