Sr Project manager

Location: Houston, Texas

• Independently manage multiple healthcare construction projects from planning through closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional communication and service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and overall execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality, safety, and risk while proactively resolving issues.
• Manage project documentation, contracts, change orders, and reporting.
• Mentor and support Project Coordinators and Project Manager I team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for continued business growth.

What you must have:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience within healthcare construction, architecture, engineering, or a related construction environment.
• Healthcare construction experience is required.
• Proven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously from planning through closeout.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software is preferred.
• Candidates must have healthcare project experience, ideally in the $50M–$100M range.
• Preferred backgrounds include architecture, MEP, or construction or don’t apply
• Ideally not recruiting directly out of construction firms - this role requires a leader who understands healthcare project management end-to-end and can operate confidently at an executive level.

• Strong understanding of healthcare project management from planning through project completion.
