The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.About the Team:We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and collaborative professional to join our team as Category Strategy -Cross Border. In this role, you will drive the performance and business growth of Cross Border (CB) and China Local Sellers (CNLS) across multiple categories in the Philippines.You will work closely with regional and local stakeholders to design and execute category growth strategies, ensuring our sellers remain competitive in a fast-moving e-commerce environment.Job Description:Own and drive the growth and performance of Cross Border and CN Local Sellers across assigned categories;Partner closely with seller management teams (China, Korea, etc) as well as local teams (Marketing, Business Development, Operations) to execute category strategies;Plan, implement, and review seller programs, promotions, and campaigns to improve brand and seller performance;Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, and seller performance to identify growth and profitability opportunities;Translate insights into actionable category initiatives aligned with overall business goals;Design and execute category growth plans, coordinating closely with seller market teams;Collaborate with global and regional teams to cascade programs, secure investments, and gather sellerfeedback;Act as the key liaison between Seller Offices, Regional Teams, and Local teams to ensure strong alignmentand smooth execution;Serve as the main point of contact for operational issues related to CB and CNLS within assigned categories;Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as neededRequirements:Proficient in Mandarin (spoken and written) to communicate withMandarin-speaking sellers and stakeholders;Strong command of English with excellent verbal and written communication skills;3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, or Management (ecommerce experience is a plus)Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, or related field;High Proficiency in Powerpoint/Google Slides, Excel/Google SheetsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindsetSolid understanding of growth and profitability drivers;Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment;Strong stakeholder management and project ownership skills;Able to manage multiple projects end-to-end while #J-18808-Ljbffr Shopee
