Ophthalmology Opportunity in Middletown, Connecticut Partnership Track High-Volume Cataracts

Practice Overview:
- Physician-owned, well-established private practice group
- The executive director manages operations so physicians can focus on patient care
- Comprehensive ophthalmology with opportunity for refractive work based on interest
- Shared call among five surgeons with a balanced rotation
- Shared a 7-day-per-week office call rotation among physicians
- Potential up to 1000 cataract surgeries per year
Schedule:
- 4 clinic days and 1 OR day per week
- Clinic hours typically 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
- Consistent surgical volume in an eye-focused ambulatory surgery center
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary $450,000
- Partnership eligibility after 24 months
- Full benefits, including health insurance, malpractice, licensure reimbursement, and 401 (k)
- 4 weeks PTO plus 6 paid holidays
- 5,000 CME allowance
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Ophthalmology
- Comfort with high-volume cataract surgery preferred
- New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply.
- No visa sponsorship available
