Sonographer - Ultrasound | Lynchburg, Virginia Pay: $2,400/week Contract: 08/24/2026 - 11/21/2026 Shift: 5x8 Days | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Sonographer - Ultrasound for a hospital-based assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have prior travel experience, strong ultrasound skills, and experience working with GE equipment . Candidates must be comfortable floating between locations and participating in call, weekend, and holiday coverage. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols. Provide high-quality imaging and ensure proper patient positioning and preparation. Utilize GE ultrasound equipment . Apply echo-related skills as required. Perform EKG-related duties when applicable. Work across assigned locations and float as needed. Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Follow hospital procedures and patient-safety standards. Requirements Prior travel experience required Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar setting BLS required ARDMS and/or CCI certification required Experience with GE equipment required EKG experience preferred Must be willing to rotate/float between locations Pride-Health is an equal opportunity employer.
