There are immediate openings for dedicated professionals near Bridgeport, TX, who are passionate about working with students in both elementary and intermediate settings.

These roles offer the opportunity to work with small caseloads, collaborating closely with students needing specialized behavioral or life skills support. For candidates with experience across both behavioral and life skills programs, there is the unique prospect to support two consecutive assignments: start with one caseload, then transition to another in November, potentially extending through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Certified Special Education Teacher, with demonstrated experience in either behavioral supports or life skills instruction
• Experience working with elementary and intermediate grade levels preferred
• Comfortable managing small group caseloads (3-5 students)
• Ability to adapt instructional approaches to meet individual IEP goals
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must be ready to start immediately

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and support to students with special needs in assigned grade levels
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and school staff
• Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Collect data to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress
