Pride Health is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility in Poughkeepsie, NY. This is a 3+ month contract assignment (Possibility of conversion or extension) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Location: Poughkeepsie, NY Schedule: MondayFriday Shift: 7:30 AM5:30 PM (8-hour shift within this time frame)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will support providers in delivering high-quality patient care by preparing patients for examinations, obtaining vital signs, documenting clinical information in Epic, and assisting with daily clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and prepare them for examinations.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs and medical information.
• Record patient information and clinical documentation in Epic EMR.
• Assist providers during patient visits and support daily clinical workflows.
• Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Support clinic operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Required Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pediatric clinical experience.
• Experience using Epic EMR.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
