Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a critical utilities location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This armed post requires an armed guard card or license. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location. Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity. Monitor access to restricted utility areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Operate assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, licensing requirements, and site-specific procedures while maintaining a professional presence. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
