POSITION SUMMARY: The Service Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing fleetparts inventory, coordinating parts procurement, maintaining inventoryaccuracy, supporting fleet maintenance operations, and ensuring timelyavailability of parts and materials required for vehicle and equipment repairs.This position serves as a key link between technicians, vendors, and fleetleadership to maximize shop efficiency and equipment uptime.

• Manage inventory levels for fleet parts, tools,supplies, and consumables.

• Order, receive, inspect, and stock parts forvehicles, equipment, and shop operations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records in the fleetmaintenance management system.

• Research part availability, pricing, and leadtimes from vendors and suppliers.

• Create and process purchase orders for parts andrelated maintenance materials.

• Coordinate parts returns, warranty claims, andvendor credits.

• Reconcile packing slips, invoices, and purchaseorders.

• Monitor inventory usage and recommend minimumand maximum stocking levels.

• Conduct routine inventory counts and annualphysical inventories.

• Ensure the parts room and inventory storageareas remain organized, clean, and secure.

• Enter parts, labor, and maintenance data intothe fleet management software system.

• Assist with tracking preventative maintenanceschedules and vehicle inspection reports.

• Coordinate warranty repairs and outside vendorservice appointments.

• Assist with parts and equipment pickup ordelivery as needed.

• Maintain vendor relationships and assist innegotiating pricing and service agreements.

• Support technicians and fleet personnel byensuring timely availability of required parts.

• Generate inventory, purchasing, and maintenancereports as requested.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Competencies

• Strong organizational and inventory managementskills.

• High attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications,particularly Excel.

• Experience using fleet maintenance or inventorymanagement software.

• Knowledge of vehicle and heavy equipment partsand components.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in afast-paced environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Effective problem-solving and decision-makingabilities.

• Strong customer service orientation.

• Ability to work independently and as part of ateam.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in fleetmaintenance, parts management, inventory control, or a related field.

Position offers competitive pay, benefits, paid vacation,and health/dental insurance.

Full-time: $23 -  $28 per hour, based on experience andqualifications.
