Mainframe QA

We are looking for an experienced Mainframe QA Consultant to support healthcare applications for a contract engagement in Cincinnati. Responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of mainframe-based systems that support healthcare operations, claims, eligibility, and member data. Perform manual testing of Mainframe healthcare applications. Analyze healthcare business requirements and translate them into test cases and test scenarios. Execute functional, system, regression, and UAT testing. Validate batch processing, online transactions, and data feeds. Perform data validation using DB2 and SQL. Test claims processing, eligibility, enrollment, provider, and member data. Validate HIPAA-compliant data handling. Identify, log, and track defects through resolution. Work closely with developers, business analysts, and healthcare SMEs. Prepare test execution reports and defect metrics. Required Skills 5+ years of Mainframe QA / Testing experience. Strong hands-on experience with: Experience in Healthcare domain (Claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Provider, Member systems). Experience with batch and online testing. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Experience working in Agile or Waterfall environments. Experience with tools like ALM / Quality Center / JIRA.
