Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 18 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 18 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 1 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Carolina license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac rhythm interpretation. - Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem/Amiodarone).

Required Credentials: - Education: ASN / BSN

Unit Details: - Patient population includes stroke, seizure, AMS, generalized weakness, AKI/CKD, falls, cellulitis, and non-healing wounds. - Days/Nights: 1:5-6 - (surge staffing could increase ratios up to 1:7-8) - No remote tele monitoring; unit clerk, charge/clinical supervisor, and staff are responsible to read and post every shift. - Uses Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Phillips monitors, and Rover Communication. - Free parking

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - Travelers will work 75% of holidays. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Will be required to float within region needs and scope of practice to Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital).

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
