Job Description Our client, a community-focused healthcare provider dedicated to delivering comprehensive primary care services, is hiring a Pediatrician . This esteemed healthcare organization is seeking a committed Pediatrician to join their compassionate team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality pediatric care, promoting child health and wellness within the local community. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives through expert clinical practice and dedicated patient engagement. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and examinations for infants, children, and adolescents. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions, including minor injuries, infections, and developmental concerns. Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring adherence to best practices and current medical standards. Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies. Participate in community outreach programs and health education initiatives as needed. Stay current with advancements in pediatrics through ongoing professional development. Requirements Minimum of a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution. Valid State of New York medical license and board certification in Pediatrics. Minimum of 3 years of pediatric clinical experience. Strong clinical skills with a focus on family-centered care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse patient populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Additional certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS) are preferred. Commitment to providing equitable, culturally sensitive care. Willingness to participate in community outreach and occasional after-hours coverage.
