Part-Time, Live-Out, Nanny/Family Assistant Needed

Start Date: August 24
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 11:00 AM–6:00/7:00 PM, with flexibility

Position Type: Part-Time (Less Than 40 Hours/Week)
Compensation: $40/hr, Paid Time Off & Benefits

About the Family

A warm, welcoming family is seeking a dependable, proactive, and engaging Nanny/Family Assistant to become an important part of their household. The family has three wonderful children, ages 8, 5, and 3, who have active schedules filled with school, sports, and extracurricular activities.

As the children grow more independent, the family is looking for someone who can confidently jump in wherever needed—whether that’s helping with childcare, managing household tasks, preparing meals, or keeping the home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes initiative, enjoys staying organized, and truly becomes an extension of the family.

Responsibilities

• School pick-up and drop-off, transportation to activities (family vehicle provided)
• Care for the family’s three children, including engaging them in age-appropriate activities
• Keep the youngest child entertained at home during afternoon naps or while parents transport older siblings
• Take children to the library, museums, aquarium, parks, and other outings
• Prepare healthy family meals and children’s meals
• Meal planning and grocery shopping
• Light housekeeping and maintaining common living spaces
• Organize closets, pantry, toys, and other household spaces
• Run family errands as needed
• Assist with maintaining an organized and efficient household

Ideal Candidate

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Excellent driving record and valid driver’s license
• Organized, dependable, and proactive
• Self-starter who takes initiative without needing constant direction
• Experience caring for multiple children
• Comfortable managing changing schedules and priorities
• Open to occasional overnight care (pre-arranged)
• Enjoys spending time outdoors and planning engaging activities for children

Additional Details

• Three children: ages 8, 5, and 3
• Home is approximately 7,000 sq. ft.
• Live-out position
• Guest room with attached full bathroom available for occasional overnight stays
• Family currently employs a housekeeper/executive housekeeper, laundress, and gardener/groundskeeper
• Family may add a dog within the next one to two years
