It’s a chance for driven professionals to grow, learn, and make a real difference.If you are interested in exploring the possibilities We Want to Talk to You!The Difference You Make:Santander's Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) business is seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Qlik Sense and Power BI, with additional exposure to other BI and reporting platforms such as Amazon QuickSight or similar tools considered desirable.The role will focus on designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting enterprise BI dashboards, data models, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities, while ensuring data accuracy, performance, governance, and alignment with business requirements.The candidate should be able to work across BI technologies, understand existing BI assets and reporting processes, and contribute to modernization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Previous experience with QlikView and NPrinting is valuable where legacy reporting environments need to be assessed or supported, but the primary focus of the role is BI development and delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a BI Developer, you will:Design, develop, enhance, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions using Qlik Sense and other BI platforms such as Power BI or equivalent tools.Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions, data models, KPIs, visualizations, and reporting outputs.Build and optimize data models, data connections, QVD structures, reload processes, and reporting layers to ensure performance, accuracy, and maintainability.Develop clear, intuitive, and business-focused dashboards applying visualization best practices and enterprise BI standards.Analyze existing BI assets, including legacy QlikView applications or NPrinting reports when applicable, to support modernization, rationalization, or transition activities.Support report automation, scheduling, distribution, access management, and user security across BI platforms.Validate data quality, reconcile results with source systems, and ensure consistency of business logic across reports and dashboards.Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, technology teams, and support groups to define requirements, resolve issues, and deliver fit-for-purpose BI solutions.Conduct unit testing, SIT, UAT support, defect resolution, deployment preparation, and post-production support.Produce technical documentation, including dashboard specifications, data lineage, data model design, operational procedures, and support documentation.Contribute to BI governance, standardization, performance optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the reporting landscape.What You Bring:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education:Bachelor’s Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - RequiredMaster's Degree: in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education - PreferredQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.5+ years of experience in BI development, reporting, analytics, data visualization, and dashboard delivery.Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense, including scripting, data modeling, dashboard development, application support, performance tuning, security, and deployment processes.Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, visualization, publishing, and report maintenance.· Experience with other BI and reporting platforms such as Amazon QuickSight or similar tools is desirable.· Experience working with enterprise data sources, SQL, relational databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes.· Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into effective data models, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting solutions.· Familiarity with Qlik Management Console, Qlik Sense Enterprise, security rules, section access, version control, and deployment best practices.· Experience with QlikView and NPrinting is beneficial for supporting legacy reporting environments, modernization activities, or report rationalization.· Banking, financial services, regulatory reporting, or operations reporting experience is preferred.· Fluent English is required; Spanish is a plus for stakeholder engagement and documentation.· Advanced BI development skills with strong Qlik Sense expertise, including scripting, set analysis, reusable script design, complex expressions, and dashboard optimization.· Strong Power BI development experience, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, visualization, publishing, workspace management, and report maintenance.· Strong data modeling skills, including QVD design, joins, concatenation, link tables, incremental loads, semantic layers, and performance tuning.· Strong SQL skills and ability to work with enterprise data sources, data warehouses, databases, and ETL pipelines.· Ability to design clear, intuitive, and business-focused dashboards using visualization best practices.· Experience validating data accuracy, reconciling outputs, documenting business logic, and ensuring consistency across reporting solutions.· Understanding of BI governance, access controls, auditability, regulatory reporting, and data management best practices.· Experience creating or maintaining Qlik Sense extensions is a plus.JavaScript, Java, APIs, or automation experience is desirable.Experience working in Agile delivery models and supporting production stabilization after migration waves.Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a migration-focused environment with multiple applications, stakeholders, and timelines.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage business users, technical teams, and management stakeholders.Strong documentation discipline and attention to data quality, controls, and implementation detail.It Would Be Nice For You To Have:Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education.Work Authorization & Sponsorship:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring employer sponsorship to commence employment.What Else You Need To Know:The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week.
