About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President, Web UI/UX & BI Developer to spearhead the user experience strategy for its data analytics and reporting platform. This pivotal role demands a leader with a strong background in data visualization, interactive design, and modern web application development. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating high-fidelity dashboards and applications that distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for executives and decision-makers. Key responsibilities include defining and executing a comprehensive UX/UI strategy, establishing design systems and patterns, and championing user-centric design principles. The role also involves leading the development of Power BI dashboards, custom web applications, and ensuring performance optimization, security, and compliance with data governance standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of UX/UI design and development experience, with at least 3 years' in leadership roles, and a proven track record in data visualization and analytics dashboards. Expert-level proficiency in Power BI, React or Angular with TypeScript, and a strong understanding of data visualization libraries is essential. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio showcasing high-fidelity dashboard designs and custom web applications, and experience in financial services or related domains is preferred. The role requires a forward-thinking individual who can blend the analytical rigor of an investment professional with the design sensibility of a UI/UX engineer, and who is adept at managing projects, mentoring team members, and communicating effectively across disciplines.
