Job Description Medi Home Health, a division of Medical Services of America, Inc., currently seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Home Health patients. This position will cover Newport News, Hampton, and Williamsburg, VA. Responsibilities Provides physical therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines and in accordance with the plan of treatment developed by the PT. Assists the physician in implementing and conducting treatment as outlined in treatment plan. Monitors patient’s response to treatment and modifies treatment as indicated in accordance with the plan of care and reports to the physician or client care manager. Develops, prepares and maintains individualized client care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to policies. Assists with interpreting and communicating evaluation findings to patients, family and other staff members. Job Requirements Valid PTA license in the state of VA. Valid Driver's License. Minimum of one-year verifiable physical therapy experience. Home Health experience preferred.
