Our Directors are responsible for executing daily operations and holding team members accountable for each component of Operational Excellence and our Recipe for Service. The two main areas of focus for a Director are completing tasks to make the restaurant run effectively and training/developing team members. Directors lead by example and set the tone for others to follow.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the back-office team, including team members, trainers, shift leaders, and back of house managers, to ensure smooth operations and consistent food quality.
• Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items to Chick-fil-A's high standards and quality specifications.
• Inventory Managers: Manage inventory levels, orders, and storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing food waste, cost, and labor. Also, optimize key performance indicators.
• Kitchen Operations: Maintain a well-organized kitchen environment, including equipment maintenance, cleaning, and compliance with food safety regulations.
• Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to consistently deliver exceptional food products and maintain Chick-fil-A's standards of taste and presentation, meeting performance standards.
• Cost Control: Oversee and manage kitchen-related expenses, including food costs, labor, and waste reduction, to meet budget goals while maintaining food quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with FOH staff, including management and FOH team members, to ensure smooth coordination and an exceptional guest experience.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local health department regulations, food safety standards, and Chick-fil-A's operational policies, taking necessary actions to address any violations or concerns.
• Flexibility: Be willing to work in a staff position if needed, supporting kitchen operations and providing hands-on assistance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years. Previous restaurant experience in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-food or quick-service environment.
• Solid knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and food safety practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Competency in inventory management, cost control, and kitchen organization.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of Chick-fil-A's brand and values is desirable.
• ServSafe certification required.
