About the Role CentralReach is seeking a motivated, results‑driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing Education Sales team. This role is responsible for identifying and engaging prospective school districts, educational organizations, and key decision‑makers to generate qualified sales opportunities for our Account Executives. Key Responsibilities Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for Account Executives through proactive outbound prospecting. Conduct high‑volume outbound phone calls and personalized email campaigns to engage prospective customers. Research target accounts and identify key decision‑makers within school districts and educational organizations. Build relationships with administrators and other education leaders to understand their needs and challenges. Qualify prospects based on established criteria and accurately document activities in Salesforce (or CRM). Collaborate closely with Account Executives to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to sales engagement. Maintain consistent follow‑up with prospects through multiple communication channels. Meet or exceed activity, meeting, and pipeline generation goals. Stay informed on education industry trends, particularly within special education, to effectively position CentralReach solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience. 2+ years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or a similar customer‑facing role. Experience working with or selling to administrators in the K‑12 education market is required. Experience in special education, either professionally or through selling technology or services into special education programs, is highly preferred. Demonstrated success with outbound prospecting, including cold calling and email outreach. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to create compelling, personalized messaging. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced sales environment. Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools is preferred. What Success Looks Like Consistently generates qualified meetings for the Education Account Executive team. Develops meaningful relationships with education administrators and district leaders. Maintains high levels of outbound activity while delivering thoughtful, personalized outreach. Contributes to pipeline growth and supports the continued expansion of CentralReach’s Education business. 20% Travel Required Why Join CentralReach?
