Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) RN in a healthcare facility setting. This position involves providing advanced nursing care to surgical patients, managing preoperative and postoperative procedures, and working closely with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Job Details:

• Certifications and Qualifications: Active Illinois nursing license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated; BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required; minimum of 2 years of experience in operating room nursing preferred.
• Schedule: Rotating shifts with an 8-hour shift time, working a minimum of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotations, with a response time of 45 minutes.
• Responsibilities: Assisting in various surgical procedures including general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedic, and podiatry cases; maintaining sterile techniques; supporting surgical teams during operations; managing patient care before and after surgery.
• Additional Requirements: Scrubbing experience preferred; self-scheduling not permitted; floating to Ottawa may be required at times; hospital-provided scrubs required; on-site orientation scheduled for first shift.
• Submission Requirements: Last four digits of the clinician's Social Security Number, active IL license or proof of application, confirmation of understanding about drug-free policy, and requested time off.
