Radiologic Technologist, Hospital

Position Summary Park Nicollet Radiology team members partner with providers to ensure that each patient has a safe, caring experience. In this role you will perform high‑quality and accurate radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols, interact with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner, apply knowledge of radiation protection and emergency protocols, perform tasks to comply with regulatory standards, and educate and train others on the operation of all equipment, procedures, image quality, and exposure techniques. Responsibilities Perform high‑quality and accurate radiographic procedures according to established protocols. Interact with patients, physicians, and staff in a professional and courteous manner. Apply knowledge of radiation protection, emergency protocols, and procedures. Perform tasks to comply with regulatory standards. Educate and train others on equipment operation, procedures, image quality, and exposure techniques. Work Schedule Full‑time 1.0 FTE. Evening, holiday, and some weekend call. Required Qualifications American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification required and must be maintained. Must secure CPR certification within 6 months and continuously maintain it. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Problem‑solving skills and discretion with patient information. Computer knowledge or experience. Ability to exercise good judgment. Strong interpersonal and team‑building skills. Knowledge of age‑related growth and development principles to provide appropriate service and assure patient safety. Strong knowledge of anatomy, radiographic positioning, and proper application of radiographic principles. Ability to operate modality imaging devices, patient transfer devices, security system, fire alarms, emergency equipment, PC (including e‑mail), printer, voice documentation devices, EMR, fax, and photocopier. Willingness to train and maintain competency in the operation of new equipment and technology.
