This role involves translating system engineering designs into robust software solutions, ensuring quality and scalability.The Work:Perform software development and integration for system components.Translate system engineering designs into software designs.Design, implement, and maintain source code, Infrastructure-as-Code, and Configuration-as-Code.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards.Create comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.Optimize code for performance and scalability.Integrate with APIs and external systems.Implement security best practices in code development.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user interfaces.Work with database specialists to design and implement data models.Document code, APIs, and technical designs.Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.Stay current with emerging technologies and development practices.What You Need:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, or related field.Minimum of 4 years of software development and integration experience.Demonstrated expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining complex software solutions.Security Clearance:Active Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, or TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required, depending on positionThe pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is:$78,600 - $160,200 USD
