This role involves providing general neurosurgery care for adult patients, including trauma and tumor cases, with a focus on spinal surgery and critical procedures. Practice Info General neurosurgery (adult) Trauma and tumor cases Responsibilities Handle 6 - 18 phone consults per 24 hours Manage 1 - 2 admissions per call Compensation $320 - $400 hourly Competitive compensation Benefits Paid malpractice insurance Pre-paid travel and housing expenses Shift & Schedule Call only - 1 weekend per month (Fri 7 am - Mon 7 am) 24-hour on-call shifts Call ratio 1:5 Requirements Spinal surgery with and without instrumentation required VP shunt placement and ICP monitor placement required Application of external traction required
