The successful candidate will play a critical role in assisting with complex surgical procedures, as well as ensuring the highest standards of patient care.Schedule\n \n Shift: 3x12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM\n No on-call requirement\n Holiday coverage may be required for one major holiday, either on-call or in-house\n Responsibilities\n \n Circulate complex surgical cases including but not limited to:\n \n Adult Heart and Lung Transplant\n Type A Dissections\n Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts (CABG)\n Valvular Surgery\n Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)\n Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) repair\n Diagnostic and Exploratory Laparoscopies\n Endovascular Aneurysm Repair (EVAR, TEVAR, FEVAR)\n \n Scrub for cardiac and vascular surgical procedures preferred\n Qualifications\n \n Must have a minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience\n Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or multi-state license required to start\n Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (must be AHA certified)\n Radiation badge required, which will be provided by the agency\n Additional Information\n \n Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are accepted on a case-by-case basis\n All requested time off must be provided at the time of submission for consideration\n The facility may call off travelers for one shift per two-week pay period\n Hospital Highlights\n \n Type: Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, Magnet Hospital\n Total Staffed Beds: 820\n Charting System: EPIC\n Parking: $20 registration fee for a parking permit, enabling use of the designated parking garage\n \n Note: All employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November).
