Restaurant Server

As a Restaurant Server at Mohican Lodge in Perrysville, OH, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage service to our guests in the restaurant. This full-time or part-time individual contributor position allows you to demonstrate your excellent customer service skills and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant. This role offers a competitive compensation package of $5.50 per hour plus tips, paid biweekly. Responsibilities: Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Take food and beverage orders, and accurately enter orders into the point-of-sale system Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and courteously Answer any questions or concerns guests may have about the menu or their dining experience Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any needs or requests Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of food and drinks Process guest payments and accurately balance cash and credit card transactions Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, chairs, and service stations Follow all food safety and hygiene standards Assist with setting up and breaking down the dining room before and after shifts Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally and escalated to management as needed Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Basic math and cash handling skills Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed Benefits: Full time employees will be offered health, dental, vision and 401K Opportunities for advancement within the company Employee discounts on lodging at other Great Ohio Lodges, dining, and other amenities at the Mohican Lodge About the Company: Mohican Lodge is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse work environment for all employees.
