Step into a dynamic educational environment and make an impact supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. Beginning August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027, this contract role offers the chance to work 35-40 hours per week in a collaborative setting near Newark, DE. You'll enjoy flexibility in daily hours, working within a time frame of 6:45 AM – 4:00 PM, tailored around school schedules and meetings—a mutually convenient start time ensures a healthy work-life balance.

Your expertise will help students develop stronger communication skills, and the district is ready to support Clinical Fellows (CFs) and SLPAs with dedicated supervision. Spanish language skills are an asset, though not a requirement.

What we’re looking for:

• Active or pending Delaware SLP or SLPA license
• Experience in schools, healthcare settings, or pediatrics preferred
• Willingness to work onsite
• Ability to pass background and drug screenings
• Openness to working across elementary, middle, and high school populations
• Bilingualism, especially Spanish proficiency, is highly valued

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering assessment and therapy services to K-12 students
• Collaborating with teachers and families to support individualized goals
• Maintaining thorough documentation of services
• Participating in IEP meetings and student support initiatives
• Adapting therapy approaches to various developmental levels
