Outside Sales Representative

Orlando, FL | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Company Vehicle Provided Are you a relationship-driven salesperson who would rather be out meeting customers and visiting job sites than sitting behind a desk all day? We’re hiring an Outside Sales Representative to grow business throughout the Orlando construction market while managing and developing an existing customer base. Our client supplies construction and industrial equipment, tools, fasteners, and jobsite supplies throughout the region. This is a hands-on outside sales role where you’ll build relationships with customers, visit active construction sites, identify new projects, and help contractors get the products and supplies they need. What You’ll Do Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customer accounts. Prospect for new customers and expand the company’s presence throughout the Orlando construction market. Develop relationships with contractors, builders, superintendents, project teams, and other construction professionals. Identify new construction opportunities through industry resources, referrals, market research, and active prospecting. Visit customer locations and active construction sites regularly. Spot new projects in the field and proactively introduce yourself to potential customers. Follow established customers as their projects move throughout Central Florida and occasionally into surrounding markets. Work closely with branch and sales leadership to identify leads and business opportunities. Assist customers with construction and industrial products, including tools, fasteners, equipment, and supplies. Maintain consistent communication and strong long-term customer relationships. What We’re Looking For Previous sales, account management, or customer relationship experience preferred. Construction, industrial supply, building materials, tools, fasteners, or related experience is a plus. Comfortable prospecting and developing new business in the field. Personable, self-motivated, and confident building relationships with customers. Comfortable working in an active construction environment and occasionally handling jobsite products and inventory. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Teams. Prophet 21 (P21) experience is helpful but not required. Must be at least 21 years old due to company vehicle insurance requirements. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the assigned market. Approximately $35,000 base salary plus uncapped commission Estimated first-year total compensation of $47,000–$50,000 Company vehicle provided. Company-paid gas card. Company cell phone.
