Job Description
ROLE - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT NURSING

Schedule:
Night Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed)

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:
- Up to date resume demonstrating 2+ years of experience in the Emergency Department, including pediatric experience.
- Documentation of travel experience.
- EMR Experience: EPIC
- Current AHA Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (TNCC is required to be in hand)
- Active NY License and NURSYS Report for license verification
- Driver's license with matching address

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and perform necessary interventions.
- Manage critical aspects of patient care including stroke, sepsis, trauma, and cardiac issues.
- Participate in the triage process and assist in the supervision of nursing staff as needed.

Compliance / Notes:
- RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at the time of submission.
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Floating may be required.
