Schedule/Shift

8 hour day shifts. Shifts range from start times of 7, 7:30, 8, and 8:30. One call night per week and one weekend every five weeks as needed on a rotational basis.

Job Description

The Radiographer in the Interventional Radiology unit will be responsible for performing imaging procedures and operating equipment with a focus on patient care. The unit primarily serves adult and geriatric populations, utilizing GE Innova systems and Cerner for documentation. This role may require support during peripheral interventions, biopsies, thrombolysis procedures, and emergency interventions.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment while adhering to sterile techniques.
• Assist in a variety of IR procedures, including Peripheral Interventions, biopsies, and thrombolysis.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Document procedures and patient care accurately in Cerner EHR.

Required Experience

Must have at least 2 years of experience in a radiology setting with demonstrated ability to operate necessary equipment and conduct sterile procedures.

Certifications/Licensure

Current ARRT Registry is required. BLS certification is also necessary.
