Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical/Surgical unit. The ideal candidate must possess strong critical thinking skills, have the ability to work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities will involve providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients, ensuring the delivery of effective treatments, and maintaining high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and treatment as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care and progress in the electronic health record system.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.
