RN Supervisor - Interventional Radiology (IR)

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an experienced and collaborative RN Supervisor to lead our Interventional Radiology (IR) team in Waxahachie. This leader will oversee daily clinical and operational activities while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and patient-centered care.

As the RN Supervisor, you will provide leadership and support to a highly specialized procedural nursing team. You will be responsible for coordinating daily operations, staffing, patient flow, quality and safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and team development. This role partners closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise IR nursing staff and daily department operations Manage staffing, scheduling, patient throughput, and workflow coordination Promote quality, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Support onboarding, education, coaching, and performance management Drive process improvement and employee engagement efforts Provide visible clinical leadership in a fast-paced procedural environment

Required Qualifications Current RN license Strong clinical nursing background Interventional Radiology or procedural nursing experience Proven leadership, communication, and team-building skills Experience managing staffing, patient flow, and operational priorities Commitment to patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance

Preferred Qualifications Leadership or supervisory experience in IR, Cath Lab, Endoscopy, PACU, or other procedural areas Specialty certification (CRN, RCIS, or related certification) Experience with quality improvement and Lean/process improvement initiatives Budgeting, productivity, and staffing management experience Knowledge of Magnet principles and professional nursing practice
