Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance TechnicianThe purpose of this position is to provide maintenance of plant equipment including mixers, pumps, screw conveyors, motors, bearings, gear boxes, hydraulic systems, and maintenance welding.Primary duties and responsibilities:Demonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancementUnderstand and demonstrate basic electrical safetyPossess the required toolsBe able to properly & safely use hand toolsOperate MC Cart, Fork Lift and Man LiftDemonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHSOther duties as assigned.Pre-hire requirements:Possess a valid US Driver's LicenseAble to work any shiftGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience working in industrial environmentHigh School Diploma or GEDAble to perform physical laborAuthorized to work in the United StatesHave verifiable experience or schooling in the Industrial Mechanical FieldScore at least 40% on the Mechanical Maintenance Technician testDemonstrate the ability and desire to learn the skills necessary for further advancementUnderstand and demonstrate basic electrical safetyPossess the required toolsBe able to properly & safely use hand toolsDemonstrate ability to use basic measuring tools (tape measure, scale, ruler, square, etc.)Demonstrate above average accuracy of work in regards to EHSCompetent in Requirements of the Mechanical Maint.
