Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinician (LMFT or LCSW) to join a growing behavioral health team providing trauma-informed, recovery-oriented services to youth and adults affected by substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and co-occurring conditions.

This role offers the opportunity to work across outpatient and school-based behavioral health programs while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to improving outcomes for underserved populations. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, including ASI, ASAM, and psychosocial evaluations.
• Provide individual counseling to clients experiencing substance use, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic group sessions.
• Develop, review, and approve individualized treatment plans.
• Provide DSM diagnoses and clinical recommendations.
• Coordinate care with physicians, schools, community agencies, and treatment providers.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to counselors, interns, and group facilitators as assigned.
• Participate in treatment planning, case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Support trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented treatment practices.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality requirements, mandated reporting laws, and agency policies.

Qualifications

Required

• Active California LMFT or LCSW license.
• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical treatment experience.
• Strong knowledge of addiction, recovery, co-dependency, and family systems theory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid California Driver's License and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass background screening and obtain required clearances.
• Current CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, Physical Examination, and TB Clearance.

Preferred

• Experience working with adolescents and school-based behavioral health programs.
• Experience treating substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring diagnoses.
• Experience providing clinical supervision or leadership within behavioral health settings.

Schedule

Candidates must be available for evening weekday and occasional Saturday coverage.

• Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
• Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
