Labor Management Engineering Manager

Your future role at a glance Location: Chicago, Illinois Facility: Ascension St Joseph Hospital Department: Labor Management Schedule: Day Shift | Full Time Salary: $105,830.21 - 147,521.09 per year Eligible for annual bonus incentive How you'll make an impact in this role Implement market-wide labor management initiatives, procedures, and projects to standardize routine practices and improve overall operational and financial productivity. Partner with market, hospital, and department leaders to guide them through the successful implementation of strategic labor management plans. Lead action plans specifically targeting premium pay, contract labor, and general labor expenses to ensure efficient and appropriate staffing. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and lead labor meetings to analyze trends, address gaps, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure the accuracy of volume forecasts and control targets, while maintaining data integrity, analytics, and reporting for all assigned markets. What minimum qualifications you'll need Education: High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
