Required Skills

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Ability to independently assess patient needs and provide effective interventions
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to float to different units when required
• Ability to manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1 (occasionally 6:1)

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with cardiac interventions and drips management
• Prior telemetry or ICU experience
• Additional certifications such as PCI or CCRN
• Bilingual abilities or cultural competency skills

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
• At least one year of clinical experience in telemetry, cardiac step-down, or ICU units
• Proven ability to handle complex patient cases with confidence

Other Requirements

• Willingness to work day shifts from 7AM to 7PM
• Eligibility to participate in onboarding programs, including new nurse orientation and competency validations
• Ability to adapt to floating responsibilities across units as needed
• Travel reimbursement and licensure/certification stipends when applicable
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel between assigned facilities if necessary
