For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.Primary ResponsibilitiesCapture, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve user-reported issues and service impacts using approved tools, knowledge bases, and support proceduresMonitor application performance, processing quality, system health, logs, notifications, and alerts to proactively identify and address issuesFollow documented support processes, operational procedures, and service guidelines to ensure timely research, resolution, and communication within established service level agreements (SLAs)Assist with testing, validation, and user acceptance activities for assigned applications, solutions, enhancements, and releasesPerform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions to improve service stabilityDocument incidents, resolutions, workarounds, and process updates to maintain an accurate and current knowledge repositoryCollaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex technical and operational issuesEscalate incidents and service disruptions appropriately based on severity, business impact, and defined support proceduresSupport application deployment, maintenance, and release activities while ensuring minimal disruption to business operationsIdentify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies to enhance service delivery and user experienceMaintain compliance with organizational policies, security standards, data protection requirements, and audit controlsProvide timely status updates and clear communication to stakeholders regarding issue resolution progress, risks, and service impactsParticipate in on-call support, incident response, and problem management activities as requiredTrack, analyze, and report on support metrics, trends, and recurring issues to drive continuous improvement initiativesYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications:4+ years of experience developing detailed SQL queries, procedures and data modeling4+ years of experience within the healthcare data environment - eligibility, claims, etc. 2+ years of experience with data mapping and workflow documentation2+ years of experience developing and maintaining quality data routines to verify the imports/extracts2+ years of experience working with Medicare Advantage and Medicaid Care Delivery modelsExperience within an application support deskExperience with database query toolsAbility to communicate effectively and problem solve with both business and technical audiences at all levels of the organization with attention to detailPreferred Qualifications:Extensive knowledge within healthcare data maintenanceExpert level Excel userDetail oriented analytic thinker and problem solverAbility to manage assigned work with minimal oversight*All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
