What You’ll Do
As a Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping trailers safe, functional, and road-ready. Responsibilities include:
- Perform service, repairs, maintenance, and accessory installations on new and used trailers and tow vehicles
- Diagnose and repair bearings, lights, wiring, brake assemblies, and trailer components
- Complete trailer repacks, redecks, welding repairs, and general fabrication work
- Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including plasma cutters and cutting torches
- Inspect, clean, and quality-check welds to ensure high workmanship standards
- Conduct multi-point inspections to identify service and parts needs
- Assist customers with trailer hookups and perform visual safety inspections
- Complete warranty work and service documentation accurately and on time
- Assemble, move, and park trailers safely
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain workflow and service schedules
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving for fabrication and welding projects
What We’re Looking For
- 2 yr minimum related experience in repair, welding, fabrication, or mechanical service
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate a forklift (or willingness to learn)
- Reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds safely and recognize team lifting opportunities
