Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT imaging exams in accordance with department procedures to obtain high-quality diagnostic studies.
• Set up CT equipment, position patients, and apply appropriate protocols; ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Provide safe, age-appropriate care and assist with exams as required by the department.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative in the utilization of imaging equipment to optimize study quality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient data; communicate results per department guidelines.
• Ensure equipment readiness, adhere to sterile technique, and assist with patient transfers as needed.

Requirements

• Flexibility to work nights and meet department needs.
• Dependable, accountable, and cooperative in a fast-paced imaging environment.
• Ability to independently perform CT imaging procedures and troubleshoot equipment as needed.
• Knowledge to obtain quality diagnostic studies and to operate imaging equipment per department procedures.
• Ability to set up imaging equipment and position patients for CT examinations.
• Capable of delivering safe, age-appropriate patient care and following department protocols.
