Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced family law attorney to join their team as a Senior Associate or Junior Partner in Marion, North Carolina. Duties Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, and prenuptial agreements. Manage a caseload with minimal supervision and provide regular client updates. Conduct legal research and draft documents such as pleadings and motions. Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for effective case management. Participate in business development and networking events. Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals. Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and active state bar membership. 2-10 years of family law practice experience. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills. Strong negotiation and mediation abilities. Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload. Commitment to ethical standards and client confidentiality. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Experience in business development is a plus. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.)
