Key Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) license
• Experience in educational or pediatric therapy settings preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Support students in developing mobility, strength, and functional skills needed for school participation
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress, goals, and therapy sessions
• Communicate regularly with educational staff, therapists, and families to promote student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate on individualized plans when required
• Adhere to all state, district, and professional standards and protocols

Position Details:

• Contract assignment for the academic year, starting August 17th, 2026 and ending June 4th, 2027
• Schedule: 2 days per week, totaling 16 hours weekly
• Serve students within the Wilkes County Schools district
