Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in North Carolina
• Prior experience supporting pediatric populations, ideally within school-based or similar settings
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to coordinate care with educators and multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to documentation, progress tracking, and upholding student privacy

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to school-aged children as directed by supervising therapists
• Support the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to monitor and advance students’ physical goals
• Assist with evaluation procedures, progress documentation, and adjustments to therapy plans
• Maintain schedule for 16 hours weekly, working on-site within the school community
