Accounting Intern

Join the Gold Medal Bakery team as an Accounting Intern and get hands‑on experience supporting our Finance team. You'll have the opportunity to apply what you're learning in the classroom to real business situations while working alongside experienced professionals. What You'll Gain This isn't just a classroom exercise-you'll get exposure to the day-to-day accounting functions of a growing business, including: Data entry and account reconciliation Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable General ledger journal entries Researching and resolving account discrepancies Vendor billings and customer charges Finance projects and other administrative activities You'll also develop valuable skills in accuracy, organization, analysis, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork. What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a 2- or 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance 3.0 GPA or higher Junior or senior Accounting students preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Basic math skills Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others Prior office experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Minimum of 20 hours per week Must be available for at least 4 hours on Tuesdays Schedule determined by the Supervisor Student Benefits & Perks When you join Gold Medal Bakery, you become more than an employee-you become part of a team that values Caring, Commitment, and Integrity .
