We are seeking a passionate, creative, and client-centered Recreational Therapist who thrives in a flexible, community-based setting. Responsibilities

• Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to client needs
• Facilitating 1:1 sessions in-home, in the community, or via telehealth
• Promoting functional independence, leisure awareness, and social participation
• Collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with agency and funding source requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Recreational Therapy or a related field.
• Certification as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required.
• Ability to pass an extensive background check.
• Reliable transportation and full coverage auto insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• Experience in behavioral management techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
