Key Qualifications:

• Valid Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate

What You’ll Do:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in line with IEP and general education standards
• Support the social, emotional, and academic development of elementary students within the classroom
• Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet the unique needs of each learner
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, specialists, and families to create a cohesive learning environment
• Track student progress, complete documentation, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
• Cultivate a classroom environment rooted in respect, inclusivity, and growth

Position Details:

• 1 opening for the 2026-2027 academic year, 37.5 paid hours per week (8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), Monday through Friday
• Start date: August 17, 2026 | End date: May 21, 2027
