Qualifications:

• Valid Alaska Type A Teaching Certificate
• Endorsements in both Special Education and Elementary Education are required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver differentiated instruction and individualized supports to elementary students with varied learning needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with general education teachers to facilitate effective co-teaching and push-in/pull-out support models
• Maintain accurate student records and progress documentation
• Utilize evidence-based practices and data-driven decisions to address the academic, social, and behavioral needs of students

This full-time contract role offers 37.5 paid hours per week (8-hour days with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, Monday through Friday), and runs from August 17, 2026, through May 21, 2027.
